Good Read

I recently came across a picture book written by Marilyn Singer, illustrated by Josee Masse, entitled, Mirror Mirror. It contains short poems about fairy tales that when read “down” the words tell the story from one character’s perspective and when read “up” the same words tell the story from another perspective, opposite of the first.

For instance, “In the Hood”, is Little Red Riding Hood’s story when you read it down and reading up, you get the story from the Wolf’s perspective. I found the book truly unique and quite amazing that someone could be that clever! I recommend you check it out.
