Quote of the Day

“The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play.” – Arnold Toynbee

At first glance I agreed with this quote, but now I’m wondering if you don’t distinguish between the two, when do you know that you’re done working? When do you get a vacation? I think people need to work hard in order to feel and enjoy the accomplishment of completing a task and play hard, too, when they want and then relax.

Anyone agree with me?

  1. Debbie, I agree with you. Blurring work and play is exactly the cause of a great deal of stress and anxiety.

Choosing work you love is one thing, and a good thing. But, we still need permission to play, even when it comes from ourselves 🙂
