Liar, Liar

Finally got around to reading Gary Paulsen’s book Liar, Liar. I liked it better than it’s sequel, which I read first. The author is very good at writing an 8th grade boy character. The book flap describes the story as an irresistible and chaotic comedy.  It is funny with a good message (that telling the truth is better than lying) and it’s short enough for reluctant readers to enjoy.
