Plotting Book Two

Jane and I are beginning to plot a sequel to our Timeweavers novel. We made a rough outline months ago but the first book took a few unexpected twists and turns so the outline will need to be adjusted.

I read an interesting article by David Farland today that seemed to go along with what we’re doing:

“So as storytellers, recognize that in your tale, you often hook your reader by having elements that draw them in—great settings, fascinating characters, intriguing conflicts. But as the story progresses, it turns from a daydream to a nightmare, and eventually grounds the reader once again to reality.”
